Core Keeper lets you craft to your heart's content. At first, you will be limited to a few basic materials, but as the game progresses, you'll be able to make new materials. One material that will prove to be quite important is the humble Plank.

Overall, the ability to make Planks can be unlocked early on in the game, but they won't be available from the start. In this guide, we are going to take a look at how you can make your very own Planks. This will also cover the requisite equipment that you will need to craft and place first.

Planks are made from the Table Saw with one piece of wood. This is a crafting station that can be made with the following materials at the Electronics Table.

These materials are fairly simple to obtain, but to actually use the Table Saw, you will need electricity. Thankfully, you can make all the necessary components for this right from the Electronics Table too. By making an Electricity Generator with ten Copper Bars, you can power your Table Saw and turn the wood into Planks.

Be sure to take a look at all the power-generating options from the Electronics Table, as you can also create small amounts of power with other devices such as the lever.

To make an Electronics Table, you can use the following materials at the Copper Workbench.

The Copper Workbench is made with eight Wood and six Copper Bar from the Basic Workbench, which can be crafted right from your inventory.

Remember, Copper Bars can be made by smelting copper ore, which is a common mineral to find at this stage of the game.
