Makita Launches Diamond Blades for Grinders and Power Cutters From: Makita USA, Inc. | For Construction Pros

The range in sizes will allow users to perform cutting tasks in a variety of materials including masonry, block, roof tiles, pavers, reinforced concrete and more.

Makita has expanded its Diamond Blades offerings for use with battery-powered grinders and power cutters. Features include a thin kerf and redesigned cutting surfaces deliver cutting speeds, more cuts per charge and blade life.

“Makita has expanded the line of Diamond Blades, offering pro concrete and masonry users more accessory solutions when tackling cutting applications,” said Austin Donoghue, senior associate product manager, Makita U.S.A, Inc. “The blades are optimized for use with battery-powered tools offering faster cutting speeds, more cuts per charge, and longer blade life.”

The new products include 4-1/2-, 5-, 7-, 9-, 12- and 14-in. blades to be used with various tools including grinders and power cutters. The range in sizes will allow users to perform cutting tasks in a variety of materials including masonry, block, roof tiles, pavers, reinforced concrete and more.
